Brighton United Church
The United Methodist and Presbyterian Churches of Brighton
both originated around 1942.  In February of 1978, the two
congregations joined together to form a united ministry to the
Brighton community.  They officially entered a union agreement on
January 1, 1983.
Our pastors rotate between the Presbyterian and Methodist
denominations.  We are conscious of our responsibility to both
denominations, since we are children of God together.
Communion is shared once a month on the fourth Sunday and
you do not need to be a member of our church to partake.  All are
warmly welcomed to join us for one Sunday or on a regular basis.
